About Our Company
Ultra-Mek is an American Owned and Family ran Company. First started in 1983, by Steve Hoffman, his son, Shane Hoffman is the current President of the company. Ultra- Mek produces elaborately tooled mechanisms that are used in common everyday furniture such as recliners, glider rockers, and height adjusting tables.
In using Ultra-Mek’s innovative products, we are helping companies adapt by re-vamping parts that live up to today’s modern standards. For example, we took a two-part mechanism that could no longer be produced and re-invented it by turning it into a three part mechanism that is more sustainable.
Ultra-Mek may not be a name you know, but chances are, the very recliner you sit in, has our American Made product in it! We may have been founded in the 80's but we are anything but old fashioned. We are changing and adapting every single day to make sure you receive the best quality product.
